Wandering through the city and completing various objectives, we come across adversaries every now and then. In addition to the tasks pushing the plot forward, there are various side missions waiting to be completed. Dorn Redbear is a human-barbarian, Vhaidra Uoswiir is a drow-monk, Ysuran Auondril is an elf-nekromancer, Borador Goldhand is a dwarven rogue, while Allessia Faithhammer is a human-cleric.įurther on, we have no choice but to start the adventure proper, which takes place in the titular Baldur's Gate and its immediate surroundings. We start the gameplay by choosing one of five predefined characters, which differ from each other in gender, race and profession (and thus in fighting style and skills). In Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 we view the action in an isometric view. Although each character has a different goal, over time each of them must join the warpath and confront evil before it shows its true face and the fate of thousands hangs in the balance. Fortunately for the city, there is still hope, as five new heroes cross its gates. To make matters worse, Vahn, Kromlech and Adrianna, the heroes of the first Dark Alliance, have been imprisoned by the vampire Mordoc SeLanmere. Bandits lurk in the alleys, and goblins prowl the roads leading to it.

The plotīaldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 takes us on a journey to the fantastic universe of the Forgotten Realms. Years later, the item lived to see a release on other platforms, including personal computers. The title, which is a hack'n'slash, was released by Interplay Entertainment and debuted on sixth-generation consoles. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 is the second installment of the spin-off series of the iconic Baldur's Gate series, launched in 2001.
